Marilu Navarro

Hello, I'm Marilu (she/her/ella), a first-generation Mexican-American from Southeast Los Angeles. I am passionate about helping people find their path to well-being, and I've been doing just that since 2014. I hold a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University, and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both California and Texas as (LMFT CA 147099 & TX 205901).

I truly believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to heal and grow, and I'm here to provide that for you. Whether you're an individual, couple, or family, I'm ready to walk alongside you on your journey. I offer virtual therapy to folks across Texas and California, so wherever you are, we can connect. And, while I'm based in Austin, Texas, my virtual practice means I can reach you wherever you are in those states. Let's work together to create positive change in your life.

*Limited in-person therapy sessions are available in Buda, Texas

MY APPROACH

Feeling overwhelmed by life's pressures and persistent anxiety? I can help. My therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a safe space for you to explore these challenges and develop effective strategies for managing them. Utilizing a client-centered and solution-focused approach, combined with my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we'll work together to understand the patterns that contribute to your anxiety and stress. I believe in the power of self-awareness and skill-building to navigate current stressors. By learning to recognize and shift negative thought patterns, and developing healthy coping mechanisms, you can cultivate greater resilience and create a more intentional and balanced life.
